There are many different types of sexualized violence – it might be verbal, digital or physical, a single incidence or frequent abuse, the perpetrator might be a stranger or a relative – no matter what you have experienced, even if you are not sure whether what happened to you qualifies as sexual violence, you are always welcome to make an appointment and talk to us.
On principal, you only tell us what you feel comfortable talking about. We won’t interrogate you or question what you tell us. We are here to listen. We take what you tell us seriously. And we won’t tell anybody else what you said. The counselling sessions are confidential, free of charge and – if you don’t want to give us your name or contact information – anonymous.

we will usually be able to pick up the phone and talk to you immediately. If you call at any other time, you can leave us a message after the beep (be patient, there will be a long announcement in german), and we will call you back as soon as possible. We are normally able to give you an appointment with an English-speaking counselor in our center in Hamburg-Bergedorf within 1-2 weeks.
Our counselling center is situated in Vierlandenstraße 38 in 21029 Hamburg, around 8-10 minutes walking distance from the S-Bahn station Bergedorf. Its is important to note that our premises are on a raised ground floor and thus unfortunately not wheelchair-accessible.
